Boudoir Events

After you have discussed details with us regarding your boudoir session, including the date and time slot, please read and fill out your information below to officially book your session.


Session Terms & Conditions

This agreement is made between the Client, whose name(s) and contact information are listed below and Joshua Veldstra Photography, LLC referred to as “Photographer.”

Cancelation Policy: When you schedule a session with us, we are turning away other work, and we set aside time in our schedule specifically for you. As a result, we must charge a fee when you choose to cancel or do not show up to your scheduled session.

Cancelation and No Show Fees:

  • 1 Day (24 hours) or Less: $500 Cancelation Fee

  • No Show: $700 No Show Fee

  • Photographer Cancelation: No fees charged

Definitions:

  • Cancelation: canceling anytime up to 24 hours prior to your session

  • No Show: not showing up for your session or not notifying Photographer of your need to cancel

Payment: All payments must be paid in full before the final gallery/ product will be delivered - $700.

Scope of Work: Joshua Veldstra Photography, LLC (Photographer) will provide the following deliverables to Client:

  • Up to 3 outfit changes

  • 30-40 minutes of shooting time

  • Minimum of 30 Edited, High-Resolution Digital Images

  • Private Online Gallery

  • 30 second Hot Reel (video)

  • Snacks and luxury hors d'oeuvre by Lavish Catering AK

  • Professional Hair by Denise Thompson

  • Professional Makeup by Savanna with Dollhouse

  • No RAW images or RAW footage will be delivered to the Client.

Photographers may decline, or charge additionally for services or deliverables that Photographers reasonably deems to be beyond this Scope of Work.

Ownership of the Work: Photographer hereby assigns to Client (specific name in form below) all right, title and interest in the work, including all trademark and copyrights, except that Photographer shall retain the right to use the work for self-promotion, such as in a portfolio, exhibit or social media. Photographer do not need to ask permission of the Client to use photographs for self promotion including social media. This assignment is conditioned on Photographer being paid the full amount owed under this agreement. Client may not sell photos to third parties, such a business or publisher. Client and/or business must contact Photographer for permission to use photographs.

Independent Contractor Relationship: Photographer is an independent contractor, not an employee or partner of Client. Photographer are solely responsible for all taxes, withholdings, insurance, and any other obligations that may apply to an independent contractor.

Artistic Rights: The Photographer retains the right of discretion in selecting the photographic materials released to the client. The Photographer cannot guarantee delivery of any specifically requested image(s) except for images made under such conditions that The Photographer has complete control over all variables which contribute to the production of an image, including but not limited to, technical issues, lighting, location, time, subject position and distance to camera. Photographer have artistic/creative discretion and freedom over all images taken.

Miscellaneous: This agreement is between Client and Photographer, and neither is allowed to delegate, transfer or assign it to a third party without the written consent of the other. This is the parties' entire agreement on this matter, superseding all previous negotiations or agreements. It can only be changed by mutual written consent. The laws of the state of Alaska govern this agreement and any disputes arising from it must be handled exclusively in courts in Homer, Alaska. The prevailing party in any dispute will be entitled to recover reasonable costs and attorneys' fees.
