When planning for the wedding I knew what I was getting with the venue. I knew what I was getting with food, decorations, clothes, no real surprises. My wedding planner set expectations perfectly, this was going to be easy.
What I didn't expect was Joshua. I knew I was getting the voted #1 for Alaska's best photographer six years in a row, I knew the photos were going to look amazing, but never could I have expected the man behind the camera. Joshua was so kind and thoughtful, checking in with the bride every now and then to see if she needed anything. He was funny and a pure joy to be around. He immortalized our wedding with his talent, but something we will remember forever is not just the amazing photos he took, but the absolute power house of energy Joshua brought. He is a true delight, it was our great pleasure to work with him.

Where do I start?! I have too many good things to say. For one, Joshua photographed my husband and I in the pouring rain, on a mountain with ridiculous winds. And he encouraged my dramatic self the entire time!! He held my extra shirt that I brought with me to cover my head from the rain, he brought TWO umbrellas with him for us and even lost one in the crazy weather!! He let me wear his jacket while he only had a short sleeved shirt on.. how selfless?! He then proceeded to show us all of our photos while we all sat in the truck and tried to warm up. And the photos were beyond what we could have asked for, and we haven’t even seen the final touches yet! He went above and beyond with the weather we were dealt. “First of all, wow! Working with Joshua and his team from scheduling to finish was nothing short of awesome. From my initial request for availability, Joshua’s team was responsive, helpful and flexible. Obviously we had to have him for our wedding pictures.
For the event Joshua and his assistant Alexa arrived on site (early!) and were an immediate highlight of our wedding experience. Joshua is very personable and just great person to have around. Joshua and Alexa were very thorough with communication and diligently (and seemingly effortlessly) found amazing photo opportunities all throughout the day. For 8 hours they both kept us going and put up with a some what rowdy group.
Aside from taking so many amazing pictures, Joshua and Alexa treated us like royalty. Asking if we needed anything - serving us drinks/food during dinner (who wants their picture taken while they are stuffing their face).

Joshua did such a fantastic job with our engagement photos! We were so impressed with him from start to finish. He was easy to schedule with and very responsive to messages.
